One of my favourite things about 'Pinkamena' was the horse generator which came up with an avatar and a name (including the notorious 'Pony Horse') at random. My first thought was to give all the girls a set name and avatar and only their roles would be mixed but I was persuaded that despite the risk of same face, that random element would be missed.
So I've made a start on it and the first thing you can see is the girls are a real rainbow of colour. This was initially just for simplicity until I put together an array of real skin tones, but it struck me that actually it gave the girls a kind of 'Equestria Girls' look which would be a nice homage to the original game. So by default the game will use the natural skin tones and hair colours, but there will be an "EQG" option if you fancy a more Canterlot-themed game!
The girls are pretty googly-eyed and a bit scary in the first image, right? By the second image, I've given them a little more detail. The only thing that can change at this point is the hair at the back, and there's so far only 4 options for that but even so they're already starting to look a bit more individual. After we've got some noses, mouths, eyebrows and accessories they might start taking on some personality.
Finally, an addition since 'Pinkamena' for a bit of extra spice; There is now one girl that Violet the killer will never attempt to kill. Like the first game, she may try to kill the Queen once, but once she knows her identity won't attempt it again; and also like the first game, if she attacks the Thrall (previously, the Drone) they are evenly matched so she may or may not succeed.
However, Violet will *never* kill the Lush - the drunk who wanders around the school who gives you a terrible blow to morale if you hang them by accident. Not only that, if the Thrall kills the Lush, Violet will ignore all other targets and not stop attacking the Thrall every night until she has killed it.
Why? Who knows? I'm sure Violet has her reasons!
