facts about the backrooms,enjoy.

1 The original lore describes the Backrooms as approximately 600 million square miles of randomly segmented rooms. 2 While most levels are terrifying, Level 6.1 (the Snackrooms) is one of the few safe havens. It is filled with edible food that restocks itself daily, making it a rare long-term residence for wanderers. 3 In 2022, 16-year-old Kane Parsons (Kane Pixels) uploaded a Backrooms short film that went viral. He is now directing a feature-length film adaptation with A24. 4 For years, the origin of the "Level 0" photo was a mystery. In May 2024, internet sleuths traced it back to a HobbyTown store in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, that was being renovated in 2002. 5 poolrooms A fan-favorite subliminal level filled with lukewarm, chlorinated water and white tile architecture. It’s often considered peaceful but possesses a strange effect that can cause extreme dread or calm depending on the wanderer's headspace. 6 frontrooms : This is what the Backrooms lore calls our normal, everyday reality. 7 Oshkosh, Wiscosin The original photo was taken in 2002 during a renovation of a HobbyTown store. Today, that specific room has been converted into a radio-controlled car racing track. the end is possible only on some levels(like 3999) in theory.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
