I have created a new Roblox model format using .json. Please note that this is not an official Roblox method. Of course, the plugin for converting Roblox models to .json will be free and open source on GitHub if it works as intended.

I could do it in theory lol because I know a little about the structure of .sb3 files, since it's just a .zip format renamed .sb3

Here is the result of converting it to .json to show that it's not perfect, but I still managed to improve it.

My plugin is available under the MIT license, so it's 100% free, open source, and doesn't require you to spend any money, because Roblox Studio plugins are no longer charged in Robux.
