Hey everyone, Flutter Skye here. Recently, I’ve noticed that a lot of people ask the same questions regarding the game, and while answering them each time isn’t a problem, I do think that a post with the answers to most of them would be the best idea, and people wouldn’t need to wait until I or Jeliliam answers them.
So here you go, here’s a FAQ:
Q1: When will the update with Mangle come out?
A: There won’t be an update where Mangle will be added, she will be in the full game, when it releases. The demo has, and will only have 2 Nights, and its purpose is for you guys to have a bit of preparation for the full game, as well as to gather feedback regarding it.
Q2: Can you release a 32-bit version of the game?
A: Sorry, but we’re not planning on making a 32-bit version. The game requires a “good” computer if I might say so, and if your computer is 32-bit, then there’s barely ANY chance the game would run at all.
In other words, its simply not worth it. Compiling the game and uploading it takes quite a bit of time, and having to compile 2 versions each time simply would only take a lot more time, but also wouldn’t be worth it as most users wouldn’t be able to run it anyways.
Q3: What’s the release date?
A: We currently have no set release date for Final Nights 3, nor do we have one for Final Nights: Redux. However, we’re aiming to release FN3 by the end of Summer, August most likely. Final Nights: Redux will release in the next weeks after that, if everything goes according to plan.
Q4: Will there be Freddy/Chica/Fredbear/Toy Bonnie/Shadow Bonnie/ Etc.?
A: We will NOT reveal what will be the characters in Final Nights 3. We want to hype up the game, and we will slowly, reveal characters in teasers. That however, doesn’t mean we will reveal all of them ;)
Q5: Can you include my fanimatronic in the game?
A: Sorry, but no. We cannot include just a random animatronic into the game, as it would be completely silly, and it would break the lore of Final Nights. And besides, if we would just include any animatronic someone asks for, the game would never come out.
Although, we might include references to some other fangames.
Q6: How do I play the game?!
A: There’s a text file in the game folder, which is called “Important Controls Pls Read” Please read that, and you’ll be surely able to play the game without a problem after that.
Q7: Can you port the game to Android?
A: No, it’s not possible. Final Nights 3 is a game which requires a good computer, and most Android devices are really weak, and unless we would make the game look extremely horrible, it would run at a very, very small framerate.
As well, as “porting” to Android isn’t that easy, a lot of the game code would need to be changed as well, and there would be a ton of extra necessary work, and it wouldn’t be worth it.
Q8: Mac/Linux Port?
A: Neither of us owns a Linux, nor Mac device, so its not possible as we would be unable to test if it works correctly. We’re aware of VM’s and Dual booting, but there’s some circumstances which prevents us to do that either.
In other words, nope, there sadly won’t be a Mac or Linux port.
Q9: What are the mechanics of Mangle/New Teased Animatronic/Etc.
A: We won’t reveal the mechanics of any of the next animatronics. We want you guys and gals to experience it for yourself, and have fun! Saying how they work, would spoil the fun, wouldn’t it?
Q10: How do I run this game? Can you make it an .exe?
A: The file you download from the Gamejolt page is a RAR file, basically, it’s a compressed folder with the game data. In order to run the game, please follow these instructions.
