Fazbear Entertainment History

Researched by the Fazbear Archiving Team

This History of Fazbear Entertainment will include many dates and time points, so this will be a long document.

(Origins)

In the mid - late 70s (likely around 1978), William Afton and Henry Emily would begin plans for a restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, though due to their budget, they had to scale it down. And so Fredbear’s Family Diner was planned out.

(1979 - 1983)

Around Early 1979, Fredbear’s Family Diner would open up, and it was an instant success. Families loved how welcoming the area looked, and Children especially loved the characters Fredbear and Spring Bunny.

In 1982, the Animatronics would gain a major change, not only were the suit from the outside changed, but so was the endo itself. The endo was titled the Proto-Endo or Springlock Endo when these suits were reused as walk around mascots at Freddy’s.

The Endo was a hybrid between Animatronic Endos and a Performer suit, with the use of a Hand Crank, employees could rig the endo and enter the endo, without requiring a separate suit.

In 1983, Fredbear’s would close for (as for as we know) unknown reasons, but around January 1984, Fredbear’s would be rebranded into the more well known Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

(1984 - 1985)

In January 1984, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza would be opened up, and it was another success. With new animatronics designed by William, and with a larger layout, Freddy’s was a hit (even getting its own Television Series Freddy & Friends: On Tour).

The restaurant would temporarily shut down after the daughter of Henry Emily would go missing in April of that same year. Though it would reopen the following month.

On June 26th, 1985, five children would go missing at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, and this would get the place shut down for about four years

(1986 - 1987)

Not much is actually known about these years, the most info we could find was Fazbear announcing their Freddy Fazbear’s Jr’s location, and what is called by us as “The Bite of 87”, but that's all really.

(1989 - 1994)

In July of 1989, the original Freddy’s from 1984 - 1985 would be reopened, just on a smaller budget. The animatronics were redesigned to have a cuter look, and the Springlock Suits were put in storage.

Around Early ‘94, Freddy’s would shut down and close for good, but Fazbear’s wasn’t down all yet.

(1994 - 1996)

For the next two years, Fazbear’s would begin making cheap games and shows based on their I.P, one of them, Fazbear Quest, we were actually able to archive.

In 1996, Fazbear Ent. would go out of business, resulting in the end of the Franchise for good.
