Hello again, and welcome to another Fazbear Nights 2: R devlog!
A devlog that I definitely didn't forget to publish 8 days ago.
This will be a shorter devlog since I don't want to spoil the game and say everything before it even releases. It ruins the fun ya know? Anyway lets get straight into it!
Analogue Clocks
The first thing to mention in this devlog is the inclusion of analogue clocks into the game, they'll be scattered across the map making it a lot easier to know what time it is in-game without having to go to the office.
New Settings
Going through the settings menu I figured it would be a good idea to add a few more settings to the game to help improve quality and or framerates, such as FSR upscaling and proper global illumination settings.
There might also be custom game settings separate from the custom night such as difficulty settings like easy, normal, hard, etc. No promises though!
Hardware Requirements
It would seem so far that this game is much harder to run than the original game based on in-game testing on my end, and that's due to the graphical upgrades and usage of new unreal 5 systems.
And as a result older hardware may struggle to run the game even on the lowest settings and worst case not at all. I'll keep trying to optimize more and more but currently it seems likely older PC's will have to stick with the classic version of the game...
And that wraps up this new devlog that I definitely did not forget to publish.
Thanks for reading!
