FEB 2026: A VISION CREW UPDATE: Small But Still Big Updates! Readying Up For Full Production!

Long time no see!

Things have been very busy at the Feeding Factory, and we’re finally ready to share some small-but-big news and updates on Vision Crew Deltarune: World of Loud Silence!

The Project Refresh

In our last update, we mentioned that VCDR was entering a refresh period while RV Pine and some others took a short break. Since then we’ve been reorganizing the entire project and putting it through a more proper pre-production stage to support a healthier long-term development plan compared to before.

We’ve been slowly but surely wrapping up extensive documentation covering story, characters, mechanics, features, programming notes, and more. We even have a Trello board to track tasks and work, helping the team stay focused and aligned with a new development road map.

Even as future Deltarune chapters are released, our plan is to keep World of Loud Silence’s content stable and unchanged this time around. Aside from a few fun additions and nods, the game’s core content/concepts is expected to be fully finalized within the next couple of months.

This restructuring caused a bit of a delay, but the payoff has been huge. With a cleaner foundation, development will be smoother and faster moving forward.

So What’s Been Happening During That Time?

The biggest update: a very rough prototype for the entire game is already in production—and almost finished! After about four months of work, we’ve designed over 230+ rooms, along with rough cutscenes, puzzles, overworld layouts, fights, progression systems, and more. Think of it as a “rough sketch” of the final game.

This prototype will likely be refreshed again for improvements—especially as we finish writing the story—but having it complete gives us a strong roadmap for the full experience. The first couple of hours are already shaping up nicely, which means we’re getting closer to building a proper playable demo.

Because of this, there is still a tiny mountain of work to do, so we’re not quite ready to show too much just yet.

Around that same time, we also plan to reopen applications to the public—but with a new and improved structure. Instead of broad roles like “Artist” or “Programmer,” we’ll be looking for more specialized positions such as Clean-Up Artist, Battle Programmer, Cutscene Programmer, and others. We’ve found that focusing on specific strengths lets team members contribute where they shine best, rather than feeling like they have to do more on their own.

We’ve already reorganized our current team to match this structure. And while we’re hiring for more specialized roles, anyone interested in contributing beyond their main position is still absolutely welcome. If you’re interested in joining the Vision Crew, we’re aiming to reopen applications in late March or early April.

Once pre-production wraps up, we plan to begin bi-monthly devlogs leading up to the game’s first demo, along with releasing a proper game overview. If everything goes according to plan, pre-production—and the game as a whole—should be more or less greenlit around the same time as well!

Just a little more time... our, Deltarune... Will be getting more consistent updates.

Game development takes time—especially for a project of this scale and structure, which differs a bit from standard Deltarune chapters. We want to give everything one last thorough pass before we begin showing more finalized material. We truly appreciate your patience as we work to make Vision Crew Deltarune: World of Loud Silence the best experience it can be.

In the meantime, be sure to check out Vision Crew’s sister project: Undertale: Dog Hole Dungeon—a roguelike Undertale fangame based on the Dog Hole area from Fangamer’s Undertale 10th Anniversary Stream! The team there has been making great progress, so please support them as well:

We’re standing at the edge of shadows, ready to bring the light as soon as we can. More—even bigger—updates soon!
