This doesn't COMPLETELY remove flashing imagery or lights, its only there to REDUCE it. So even with this on if you are sensitive to flashing lights we still recommend proceeding with caution.
When enabled, certain things will be neutered slightly in trade for a safer flashing light/image.
The light in the office flickers less but will still burnout the same.
Jumpscares are darkened but remain the same animations.
The menu isn't as swag.
Effects/Hallucinations are removed completely.
Basically anything that involves flashing lights and isn't tied to the main gameplay is tweaked with this setting
