Filesize problem.


Ok, so there is a huge problem with the actual .exe that the game comes in.

The game is humongous. It clocks in at 299 MB.

So if my calculations are correct, the finished game will become 1.2 GB.

I am trying to fix it, but don’t get your hopes up, I think it is because I import BIG detailed pre-renders, which might actually take the filesize up the roof.

yeah, it sucks, but that’s life for you.

EDIT: I sorta fixed the problem a little bit, I decreased the colour palette of the game from 16 million colours to 65 536 colours. now the game size clocks in at 148 MB, which is a darn good improvement! :)

Future Projects for 2018.

Finally revamped the atrocious options menu that TSFACP had. Before the keybinds were locked away in another screen and you had to click the "in-game controls" text to access it, now everything is on the same screen and it's just generally way smoother!
