Game
VR Experience

Finally, a long  long year later, we can proudly say we have finally completed the first THREE levels of the game, which sum up in the VR Experience DEMO. It has been a long journey, full of challenges and , quite frankly, great laziness. But here it is.

Sloam Game's Opera Prima. We have finished the third level, which has been subject to many additions since we first thought about it: we have tried to deviate from the main mechanics to give a little fresh air for the player, introducing brief ideas that may or may not be  good for the experience overall. Only time will tell.

Aside from finishing what was  yet to be added, we have also visually changed most of the first two levels, since, as I already said on previous devlogs, my drawing skills have improved a bunch since the first release of the game. Hence, the previous  build of the game did not represent the quality of the actual new game, and we had to delete the build for a while. BUT HERE IT IS, the game we've been working on since we first started designing it back in August 2019. The first public release was in October 31st, with only the first two levels. And here we are now. The end of the DEMO road.

We want you to enjoy this game to the fullest, it is a love letter to the games we love and grew up with.

With not much more to say, sit back and g̸̡̠̤͖̤̤̮͓̯͖̿̂̏̿̏̆̐̚͝i̶̖̗̤̹͗͂͂͗͒͑͐̆́̒̈̈͆̈͋̒́́ͅv̴̛̜̜̖̤̟͌͐̐̽͐̂̉͆͜ȩ̴̧̹̼̞͕̦̰̦̖̼͇͍̫̀ ̴̧̨̛̮̹̭̯͓͈͉̼̦̲̠͕̣̲͐͌u̶̟͚̖͖̝̦͊̇̽͂̊̍̓̀̏̅̀̃͠ͅṡ̶̢̝̻͓̣̤̣̤̝̏̑̈́̍̊̓̃͜ͅ ̵̧̡͈̬̝͇̝̟̓̽̏̀̅̓͋̾̽̔͒͌͒͂͘͜y̴̢̱̻͉̖̟̘̰̞͔͈͔̜̤̜̞̪̩̥̆͛̃͊͂̏̏̕ͅǫ̷̨̱̤̟̗̳̖̘̪̙̻̰̇̅̐͌̃̓͒̔͛͋̋̑̄̏́̂͐̚̕͝ͅű̴̧̢͙̮̯̺̖̑̅ͅȓ̶̢̨͇̥͇͇̤̳̖̝̒̀͛̈́̽̍̌̀́̾̆͂̀̋́̉̋͝͝ͅ ̸̧̪̝̲͉̥͇͙̼̮͉̦̠͌͒s̵̡̡̧̩̦̙̝̺̩̉͆͌̍̾̔̕͝ͅǫ̸̧̨̤͈̮̖̳̫͖̦̿̍̐́̈́͂̍ṷ̷̡̣͈̳̦̮̙͓̏͂̀̓̽̕͝l̷̢̧̛̞̫̭͚͍͚͕̮̤̻̳͚͂̇̒̿͌̏͗̓̔̓͑̀̈́̐͝͠͝.

I decided to add a "Charge Indicator" in Motionsickness: when an input is released, if it was pressed for enough time, a black arrow appears in the input buffer in Training mode. I wish more games did something like this to allow practicing charge moves!
