GIRLS IN GAMES JAM RULES
Create a concept of a game with a girl/woman identifying protagonist in 48 hours! Find teams here
Girls in Games Jam starts on Friday, September 30th and ends on Monday, October 3rd.
● Read the Official Rules, and Register for Girls in Games Jam!
● Create a game concept with a girl/woman protagonist
● If your game concept uses any assets that you didn't make, you must have permission or a license.
● You can use existing tools to create and display your game concept.
● Your game concept needs to be available on Game Jolt for voting. It can be uploaded any time before the submission deadline of Monday, October 3rd.
● Your game page / package must be free (Don't assign prices when creating your page).
● You must own the IP. No fan game concepts.
● Collaborations and group efforts are welcome! You can find people looking to team up in the Find Teams channel.
● You may add images and a description to your Game Jolt game page at anytime!
● You can't make changes to your upload once the jam ends but feel free to polish your concept files after the winners are announced on August 12th.
Be cool. No racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, religious prejudice, or other forms of hate. No personal attacks. No pornographic content. Nothing illegal.
How to add your game concept to the Girls in Games Jam
Want to enter the jam? Do this:
● If you don't already have a Game Jolt account, create one
● Create a game page from the Store or simply click here, create a package and upload your PDF or presentation file in a release.
● After the jam begins, submit your game page in the Submit Game channel.
● Remember to click publish on your game release, game package AND your game page.

Jam Starts: Friday, September 30th
Jam Ends: Monday, October 3rd

PRIZES
3 winners will have the opportunity to pitch their games to a panel of publishers and investors for additional funding!
