Finding servers, and the soundtrack

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for all of the comments and ratings about the game - we appreciate everyone who has downloaded Blind Trust and given it a shot!

It’s hard to publicize (or maybe it’s only hard because we’re unfamiliar with Gamejolt’s system) but this game is local online play only. That means if you want to play a game with someone, you must be using the same internet connection.

We recognize this is really frustrating - as game players as well as game developers, this frustrates us too! The reality is we don’t have money to pay for online multiplayer servers, so it all has to be local. Our best suggestion is invite a friend over with a laptop and play on the same wi-fi connection. When one player creates a game, and the other player goes to find a game, then you should see each other and you should be able to play together. This is a poor solution for those without mobile computing capabilities and we are sorry we can’t better serve everyone.

The next item of business is all of the wonderful compliments about the soundtrack, and the requests to get a copy of it. Caleb Blood reached out to us at the beginning of development and offered his composition services and talents to us. As such, the music is his and we’re not completely positive what he wants to do with it, or what we can do with it. We’re going to talk with him and see what he would like. In the meantime, you can listen to two of the Blind Trust tracks on his website, http://calebblood.com/#Compositions.

Thanks again for everyone’s interest! We’re wrapping up development to put on Steam/upload a better build here and on itch.io. We appreciate all the engagement you’ve given us on the game :D

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Family band complete!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Strange Umbrella

An infected room from the second part of Cybel ! Are you up for some cleansing?

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

A sneak peek at the new OST, can you guess what this song will be used for? 🤔
