First actual footage of the henry fight RAAAAGH (heavy wip, animation is placeholder and his ai is set to 20 for demonstration's sake)


Finally after a lot of deliberation and mulling it over i have a direction i want to take with this fight after so. long. there's a lot to explain but you'll probably understand it as i post more development footage.

For now, I want to talk about henry himself, since he's the actual boss.

How he works is that he'll move to your office, and when he gets in, he'll begin charging an attack; when this happens, you need to get into the same timeline he's in, and block it with your camera monitor.

Or. if you're really fucking cool. you can parry it. you can do this by pulling up/down your camera as he's *just about* to attack. not only will this deflect his attack, but also do 4 times the damage you'd normally do to him (which I'll expand on in a future post).

Again, i cannot thank @CherryBlot for helping code and come up with this. It's because of her that this game is probably going to release at all. I hope to get really cracking on more this soon enough

as for the animation, I'll have to consult my vending machine to help with that

So, what's the holdup? Why is it taking so long to figure out the boss fight?

well not instantaneous but i'm confident enough to try

updates: got the flag system restructured so it can have however many as possible at whatever time I want, made it so that if mortimer is part of an ambush set, he always goes first, and also made it so that whatever camera he's on turns monochrome
