To have a little variety in development, we added some functionality to the combat system instead of the crafting system.
As most of you already know, the combat system wil have skills. In fact, every weapon type will have his own set of skills. And this way the players can fulfill a specific role based on the weapon they’re wearing.
We made a good foundation for the skill system, and even created a working combat skill itself: Taunt (Yes, byebye weekend). By “taunting” an enemy you can make the enemy attack yourself. So for instance, when you fulfill a tanking role in your group, you use Taunt to let enemy’s only attack you, so other players can focus on damage or healing.
The taunt skill will be available when wearing a one-handed weapon (and shield) at level 1+.
