This isn't the demo release date announcement.
It is a demo, just not the full one. Instead, I'll be releasing a demo showcasing the battle system and party members within the next week or two, so keep an eye out! (This isn't replacing the planned demo)
Somehow this game is already the same size as the original, despite having a fraction of the content.
I'm here to announce an official release date for the Project: TYRANT Act I Demo And that date is....
April 7th!!
So mark your calendars or whatever.
Coming off my break now, and I'm also realizing I never announced the updated release date of the demo. I didn't realize April 7th wasn't a Friday so I've moved the release date forward to April 4th!
Don't got many notable maps since I'm using sample maps for the towns and overworld, but interiors and caves and such are custom made, here's one cave I made and I feel like sharing cause I think it looks nice
I'm going to continue work on this over time. My current project is taking a lot of work, so this will be more of a side thing that will generally be less serious and that I'll be putting less effort into than my main project at the moment.
Side by side of the amount of maps in the remake vs. the original, I haven't even gotten to the first dungeon, yet I'm already coming up on the same number of maps.
The Project: TYRANT demo is nearly finished. All that remains is playtesting and creation of the OST. I'm hoping for a Spring 2025 release date, with a March release date at earliest.
The battle system demo for Project: TYRANT will be live soon! It features all party members, all skills, and 5 fights test out the battle system against. Additionally, I'll be uploading more of the OST to here as well.
