Our level designer has been hard at work on Project Revival’s first level, well the second half of the first level. Firstly, when we say level designer, what we actually mean is Jimmy, because Jimmy already did 50% of the work, and since we couldn’t find a suitable level designer, he’s doing 60% of the work now. Like a boss! Secondly, what is it you say? Well, and don’t panic here, it is a hospital. Don’t expect the spooky, suspiciously empty, laboriously mundane hospitals found in most video games featuring “mental asylums”. I’ve tested the level quite a few times now and I have to say, it is shaping up to be great! The atmosphere is claustrophobic as hell and there’s a satisfyingly empty void of jump-scares, thank god. Whilst I don’t want to say too much about it, I was unaware that our game would feature “bosses”, or at least something similar to “bosses” and boy, did I find out in a fun and what I’d call a pretty unique way in the hospital!
