First Roadblock!

Well, remember how I talked about “baking the scene” and all that? Yes, that method just exploded right in my face. Actually it started yesterday morning, as I was trying to bake a large scene and complete my computer homework at the same time. Well, the two programs together consumed a lot of my RAM and I ran out of memory. Both Unity and my homework crashed. Then, whenever I loaded that scene I could not build it! No chance! I tried everything, searched everywhere.. Even I moved my GI cache to a larger memory. No such luck of course.

Then I started debugging the baking system with other levels, which worked perfectly fine. So it was just a specific thing about that level. Which, today evening I decided to delete the whole level. Yeap. I deleted it. But that’s not the end of that level, I’ll make it into smaller pieces and that will be better for the game as well.

Meanwhile, I finished a new level. Things are looking awesome for the time being. Check out the new screenshots!
