Heya, I’m working as fast as I can on the first update on the game. After seing the same issue over and over again I can state that the combat system, even if it’s simple, confuses the players.
I’m working on making it easier to understand for first time players, both adding better info to the temporary help section in the menu, but also making sure that the combat is better explained in the game and with the UI.
The next version will feature a rework of the pickaxe, since I didn’t like how the old system worked. This will also make the resources have a chance to spawn “too early” if you’re lucky, instead of having a static level restriction on the resources.
More info when I’m closer to releasing the update. Hopefully in a week or two!
