First update!

I would like to thank everyone who has played, commentet or ratet the game. This my first ever publicly released game, and it’s doing quite well. Thank you!

So the first update! in this update I:

  • solved various bugs

  • added a (temporary) pause menu - esc - (wich also resolved the isue of the mouse cursor randomly coming out of the game window. (This can now only done via the pause menu.))

  • made some little map changes.

  • added (better) Anti Aliasing.

  • added the ability to jump over checkpoints without having to worry about your spawnpoint not changing.

  • changed/rewrote/edited quite some code for better efficiency.*

Oh, and I made the web player size more fitting.

Next time:
For next time I will be working on the UI, main menu and the desktop version. After that I can focus on the campaign and… insert secret feature here

Again, thanks everyone for being so awesome and I will talk to you later.

-Jerom

*mostly improvements on the development side of things, but also some performence gain.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698

If you’ve played the Vault demo and enjoyed it, please consider ‘liking’ the game page here on Gamejolt and/or leave a comment!

Also please consider tossing Vault on your Wishlist, I really appreciate your support!

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

I just wanted to introduce you to my latest musical production and hear some opinions about it. Thank you very much.
