The ally mechanic I've talked about in a previous post is now ready to show off! You can choose up to four allies which each help you out in some way. Some just provide stat changes, while others add new mechanics.

You'll start out with just the first five unlocked, but playing the story mode unlocks the rest of the ones I've shown in the image. The ones that are covered up can be bought in the shop. But I haven't coded that in yet, so you can't see them yet! :)

As for development progress, all but three of the allies are fully programmed, and I'll probably finish making those later today. Every main night is done, but I haven't made the story mode cutscenes or the shop. And once I'm done with everything for the main game, I'll have to make the new Delivery Guy minigame too. Progress has been pretty good overall; the game won't be coming out this month though, that's for sure.

On a final note, I've finished all but two of the custom night characters. But I'm still struggling to think of ideas for the last one. I've been coming up with ideas... just not any good ones lol. I'm considering two things, the first would be just postponing the last character to a future update while I try to think of ideas. And the other would be to host a character contest, where people could submit characters ideas and I'd just pick my favorite one and add it to the game.

What do you guys think would be best option? If I do a contest, I'll definitely post about it here to let you all know. But for now, just let me know what you think in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
