This is a rewrite of a message I did on the Nintendo Land server. If points are similar it's normal.

Shortly after the cancellation of Reborn I noticed other Nintendo Land remakes being made in the work or started back production seemingly due to the cancellation of the game. I am personally not a big fan of it and I want to do this post to explain myself.

The reasons for Reborn cancellation.

First and foremost I want to remind everyone of the main reasons for the cancellation. In my opinion, the game was an overall generic Nintendo Land remake. It did not change enough from the original. It was good but stay way too close and faithful.

Nintendo Land fangame

Shortly after the cancellation of Reborn multiple fangames started development again. Multiple of these fangames look very similar to each other and to the original game. While I'm happy to see people were excited enough for Reborn that they want to do their own remake or continue them I'm personally not a big fan of the way it's going.

Remake Remake Remake

So far a lot of fangame have been remake that stay very faithful to the original. I believe it makes Nintendo Land fangame look unoriginal while also creating a lot of games that all look similar. I would personally love to see people add more original ideas to their remake or their own unique ideas for a Nintendo Land fangame. I only mean the best for this fangame with this message. If you try to stand up more on your own it will make a much better experience and more interesting for the player.
