The first red-black-and-white flag was created in the Sugar Kingdom in 2021. But until February 6, 2022 it was with horizontal stripes and no stars. On February 6, the flag was redesigned, showing a thirst for change: the stripes became vertical and 4 stars appeared (the variant with five points is used and less often with four points).
