So this just happened I got the freaking load Arc and the background to finally fade in.

Background cannot be faded with the loading thread because the loading thread is too fast.

Loading progress works but it loads too fast so I have to use a variable that's slower and separated from the loading thread just to get this working at a pace that would be suitable on older computers.

So poplib aka the open source sexyapp framework supports full screen even though I didn't specify it in the choice of renderers.

It's somehow going full screen even though the desktop resolution is almost the same but the game resolution is smaller...

Just some weird graphical game I'm making it was supposed to be in response to one of my other things I was doing previously and showcasing on here. Showing a graphical element that seemed to happen very very well despite it not being specified.

Decide to tinker with the newer sexyapp/poplib library variables and I found out I could finally make the game run at a very smooth refresh rate instead of the screen tearing that happens with all of Popcaps games.

Early early template that im making for an example game for the PopLib (open source sexyappframework repository). Does not contain anything yet other than this. Does not compete with Sci Jewel, and is going to be an open source project.
