New gameplay plan:
The action takes place at night, in the insanely big, randomly generated Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Players are randomly placed in one of the two available categories: technicians and animatronics.
Technician role overview:
You, along with a few other people, have been hired on a night maintenance shift. They pay well, so why not? So... you just have to descend into the depths of the howling silence, repair some stuff... and make sure you never approach the echoing laugh... and don't let it get too close...
Animatronic role overview:
ALL SYSTEMS STABLE. HELP US. HUG US. TAKE AWAY THE PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN
ERR
Explanation:
As I've decided to resign from an idea of having a playable purple man in the game a while ago, the idea of picking up evidence and reporting it as a human character stopped feeling so relevant and fitting. It started bothering me more and more that the game's flow from nightguard's point of view, even though it was fun in a lot of ways, was very repetitive in terms of said nightguards's main in-game quest. This led me to some more changes.
The new gameplay plan features different maintenance tasks that will have to be completed by each nightguard/technician (undecided which one it'll turn out to be afterall) in order to be able to call it a finished shift and leave. Tasks will be scattered around both the party zone and the maintenance zone, and the game will make sure that you get atleast one task in each of them. The tasks that you get assigned to will differ each round, and how much of them will be there, as well as how much work they will require, is something that I will have to yet come up with, when I'll be able to see it all in action.
Thanks for reading through it all, I'm very glad you did ^^
