NESS' NOTES:
My take on Mangle is based on, yes, JR's. This design is still in its conceptual stage and I'll probably be tweaking it here and there.
Toy Foxy (or "the mangle" as Freddy's employees would refer to them, but they hate being called that) has had a bad break, no pun intended. They were originally designed to be a more "kid friendly" version of Foxy the Pirate, who Fazbear execs thought looked "too scary".
Toy Foxy was set up in an area called "Kids' Cove", a playplace for younger children. However, they then went with the VERY questionable decision of putting her right in the middle of the playplace instead of a separate stage away from handsy kids. Despite the dangers of having a complex animatronic in an area for preschoolers, Toy Foxy got the worst of it, as the children overwhelmed her and took her apart almost instantly.
Freddy's employees spent every night repairing her, only for the kids to tear her down the very next day. Eventually, the workers got tired of repairing her and claim she was a "take-apart-and-put-back-together" attraction, not unlike a Duplo set.
Sure enough, TF was taken apart and put together into bizarre configurations, and she was fully conscious during the entire process. Even worse, some kids took parts of her home like bizarre souvenirs. Parts and Service would simply replace the missing parts with whatever scraps they had lying around, causing her to wind up with mismatched parts, and sometimes even with two left feet or two right hands. Eventually, she had so many parts missing or replaced that when a child asked her if she was a boy or a girl, TF simply responded "yes".
Then the Bite of '87 happened. Freddy's was shut down, and Toy Foxy and the other Toy animatronics were decommissioned and their parts were used to repair the older Freddy's animatronics. Toy Foxy, still aware during the whole process, simply used whatever parts were left from the other Toys to repair themselves and then disappeared. Some say they're still lurking in the basement of Freddy's Pizza, and no one has been brave enough to go there and confirm the rumors.
Despite their bizarre and frightening appearance, Toy Foxy is possibly the sweetest and kindest of the Toy animatronics. Contrary to popular belief, they enjoyed letting children take them apart and put them back together, although the first few times came as a shock to them. They also felt a strong kinship with the old Foxy animatronic, although if this was just friendship or something deeper was never known by anyone else.
Also, apparently someone at Fazbear had a weird obsession with giving their girl mascots pink hot pants.
