#FNAF July Day 25: The Mimic

(Notes in Article! )

I feel the Steel Wool era represents a shift in focus. It's no longer about the horror of ghosts hiding in machines, but rather the horror of the machines itself. Proof of that is in the Mimic itself. It may not look like much on the outside, but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

It was specifically constructed to learn and adapt to any situation. And one rash action on the part of its creator taught it to murder. And that became the dominant part of its programming.

That's what makes it so dangerous. It has no moral compass. It cannot discern right from wrong. It only copies what it has observed, and became a near-unstoppable juggernaut because of it.

So do you think Steel Wool has the right idea, making the monster be the machine itself instead of the ghost in the machine?

(also, I decided to redraw the Mycellium Man, since I was sick when I drew that last pic and wasn't happy with the way it turned out.)
