Freddy Fazbear's is a family diner founded by William Afton and Henry Emily. During the day, the animatronic band sing songs to children but during the night, they are haunted and roam the pizzeria looking for the security guard during the night. After closing time, they are trapped inside the building until the next morning, when they are free to roam the parking lot and surrounding area once more. Mike Shmidt sees a newspaper clipping for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and applies for the security guard position in order to save his son Billy from working there. Billy is a mechanic that cares for the animatronic band. It can get pretty dangerous because Foxy the Pirate malfunctions commonly, and has even malfunctioned during a show. Mike Shmidt works his first night in the scurity office and gets confronted by Bonnie the Rabbit and Chica the Chicken. He manages to get them out of his apartment, but they manage to escape and come back later to find Mike passed out on the couch. Bonnie and Chica found out Mike is dead, and call the cops. The next morning, the police find Mike's body and assume he died of food poisoning. After the incident, the Shmidts become the owners of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. William Afton uses his Spring Bonnie suit to lead children into the backroom and kills them. He then stuffs them inside of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. The children are then fed to Freddy and the rest of the animatronics in order to prolong their life. After the last child is killed, they shut down Freddy for good. Years before, William's friend, Henry, opens up Fredbear's Family Diner, which had a golden version of Freddy named Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. The animatronics that once scared children and made them cry have now become a tourist attraction. The owners of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza decided to call it a day, leaving the building to be torn down. They named the Freddy's tourist attraction Fazbear's Fright, where they have arcades and parts from Freddy's. The name was changed because people thought it was too scary to be called Fazbear's Fright. William Afton's dead corpse is inside Spring Bonnie inside Fazbear's Fright. He calls himself Springtrap. Springtrap sets Fazbear's Fright on fire and roams the streets. The original owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Henry buys the company back from the Shmidts and starts Circus Baby's Party Rental, a rental service for Birthday parties. The Circus Baby's Party Rental service isn't going good, so Henry starts a new Pizzeria for Freddy and the gang. Springtrap sees this as a good idea for revenge at Henry for taking care of the company.

Summary:

Mike Shmidt takes a job to keep his son, Billy Shmidt from working there due to hazardous working conditions. On Mike's 1st night, he eats Arby's and dies (not surprising) and Bonnie and Chica call the cops. Mike's family members buy Freddy Fazbear's and makes William mad. William then decides to use his Spring Bonnie suit to kill kids until the restaurant was closed. Later, the Shmidts make a horror attraction called Fazbear's Fright, which got negative attention due to it's name. William Afton is now Springtrap, and sets Fazbear's Fright on fire for no clear reason (most likely revenge). Henry then starts Circus Baby's Party Rental, but it fails so he opens up a new Freddy's location. Springtrap then wants to get revenge on Henry for running the company alone.
