Many critics and people didn't like the FNAF movie, and they were wrong. The movie is good. The sound/music design was excellent; the real props made the movie so much better; it made it cool to look at some of the scenes. Matthew Lillard needed to be more utilized; he was barely in the movie, which made the twist less impactful. The death scenes suck. Some of them barely show anything. But there are some scenes where the pg-13 is pushed to the limit, so when it does offer some bloodshed, it comes out as really f**king cool. But the trailers did lie a lot. I would just say don't expect the whole movie to have killer animatronics. Most of the time, they are betrayed as being cute. The movie is mainly a comedy. There is some hilarious shit, which makes the movie a lot better. Some parts of the movie could have been explained better. The movie took more of an 80s type of horror, which was cool, but it's a part of why critics don't like it as much because they're expecting a movie design like today's. Overall, it was a good time, which is all that matters. I rate it 7.2/10. It's not a crazy good movie, but it made my day. It was worth the wait.
