FNaF: REVOLUTION - Devlog 1

As I promised in my last post, I'm back with an official update regarding the current state of the remake - IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!

I know it’s been a while since I first announced this project, but I finally have a clear idea of where I want to take this one. Hopefully, my new ideas will not only embrace and honor @Nathan_Zica ’s original game, but also deliver a fun and enjoyable experience for anyone looking to just play a classic FNaF fan game.

As you can see in the video above, a few things have changed. The plan isn’t to create a 1:1 copy of the original, but to build upon its core concept - keeping as many of its elements as possible while adding my own twists and ideas to make it feel fresh.

As for progress: the basic mechanics for the office section are fully coded. Still placeholders for now, but fully coded.

With this project, I want to keep the development process as transparent as possible. That’s why I’m planning to release a new devlog every Friday until release, so you can stay updated on the progress and any new additions along the way. (hopefully I can stick to it...)

Until the next one, here are a few more images showcasing the new designs for Freddy and Bonnie, along with the Endoskeleton.

Or maybe not

These guys are not supposed to be 'Funtilized' designs. They and Foxy come from an older restaurant.

Sorry for missing the Devlog this Friday - I just didn’t have time to work on the game. However, here’s a render of Freddy. Enjoy!

Fredbear and Spring Bonnie Have a Little Chat

Finished Fredbear today, but I’m not the biggest fan of how he turned out. I’ll most likely redo him sometime this week.
