Finally getting around to redoing this chapter with its new lore and artwork. As you can see a lot has changed since I uploaded it on Deviantart 2 years ago. I’m not gonna spend too long on the intro and let’s get into the story.

Prologue: The Birth of Pixel Robotics (1990-1991):

Business Partners and Childhood Friends, Max Boswell and Lisa Mekanikku, Built and opened a Science and Mechanics laboratory called Pixel Robotics. A Year later a hero known as Sonic the Hedgehog and his tale about how he defeated Dr. Robotnik was spread around the world, Because of this, his Friend, Miles Tails Prower, Approached Pixel Robotics with the request that they’d help him with the creation of a Diner as a tribute to the hedgehog. With that they began developing the Cloning Project knowing that they couldn’t get the actual Sonic for the Diner since a Hero’s work is never done. Using a Chaos Emerald and creating an inky substance known as Cloning Material, they were able to create a Nearly Perfect clone of Sonic that they dubbed “Golden Sonic”. While he wasn’t exactly an exact clone, they figured that their target audience wound Mind it too much as long as they can still have a good time with him, and after many months of Teaching the Clone and Construction work, along with preparation for the building such as stocking food, hooking up the security system, and passing out fliers notifying the building’s opening, Sonic’s Fast Food Diner was opened on October 16th, 1991.

FNaS 5 The First Chapter (1991):

News Spread Fast regarding the opening of Sonic’s Fast Food Diner, and it attracted the attention of a certain individual plotting for revenge. Dr. Robotnik needed cash to fund for his next project that would surely be the death of Sonic, and so, by going undercover with the name “Dave Fozber”, He got a job as a security guard for the Diner where he would spend A week watching the place from 12-6 AM to make sure that nothing gets in and nothing goes out. Throughout the week, Dr. Robotnik notices that something off, it seemed that each night more Golden Sonic clones, or what seemed like Golden Sonic, would randomly appear at night stalking the Doctor for one reason or another. The week passed on and the Golden clone was then noticeably more afraid almost at the point of snapping into insanity. Dr. Robotnik just couldn’t wait for this job to be over so he could get his check and begin his next plot, however on the morning after the 6th night, Dr. Robotnik was attacked by the Golden Clone and bitten in the head, putting the doctor in a coma and resulting in the Bite of ‘91. Later that Same morning, Dr. Robotnik was promptly rushed to the Hospital and Sonic’s Fast Food Diner was immediately shut down, and Golden Sonic was locked away in the storage unit of Pixel Robotics.

FNaS 5 The Hard Mode (1991):

Deep within a realm unknown, Dr. Robotnik awoken inside a long dark Hallway, with a doorway at the end of it. He kept running up to it until he reached the door and opened it. Inside was the very Same Diner that he had worked at before being put into a Coma except… that the place seemed old and lifeless, that the place seemed to be deteriorating from the inside out, that the Golden Mascot looked cold and empty. The Golden Clone chased the helpless Doctor into the same Office that looked just as bad as the rest of the place, unable to get out as soon as he sat down. Somehow Robotnik knew that if he wanted to survive, he would have to survive another week with these monsters. The Golden clones all seemed restless and deformed in some way, some worse than others, and all were after the Doctor to finish the job. The nights seemed endless and Dr. Robotnik was feeling frightened and weak compared to how he’d often feel, but he had to keep going. After what seemed to be the Final Night, he was able to get up and run back to the entrance of the building, narrowly missing the Delusional Goldens as he ran down the hallways. When he finally made it, he woke back up in the hospital bed surrounded by medical experts, afraid to fall back asleep after just escaping the horrors he had witnessed.

This is why I didn’t want to spend too long on an intro, I had a lot to unpack. Now let’s get to the second part of the log which is the character designs.

Origin Sonic & Shadow Sonic: Not much has changed in terms of designs with these two compared to how I made them in 2021, the only things that have really changed were Origin Sonic getting a major improvement in proportions and Shadow Sonic being recolored back to his original palette. Don’t really know what else to say.

Delusions: Now the Delusions are where we really start to see some changes. As I’m sure you can tell they replace the original Hard Mode Designs of the OG FNaS 5. I wanted their designs to be more twisted and Nightmarish considering the fact that Hard Mode takes place in Eggman’s Dreams, but mostly I just wanted their designs to be more than basic edits. Each Delusion is different in terms of appearance and has different elements that represent certain parts of the AU’s lore or just stuff I’m genuinely interested in. For example, Delusion ‘17 Golden’s shadowed head is meant to represent Amy Roses death as an element of foreshadowing.

Dave Fozber: Another thing that I changed from the original roster is the inclusion of Dave Fozber, who is a hoax Easter egg from FNaS 5. I wanted to include him in the AU in some way and I figured a great way to do that was to have him be the false identity of Dr. Robotnik (I’m sure he had to get in somehow, there was no way Sonic nor Tails would let Eggman work at SFFD without getting suspicious.)

Dr. Golden: Again, not much new to say in terms of Dr. G’s design other than a proportions update, but his Delusion design is completely new, I based his design from elements of the Heavy King from Sonic Mania and the Anti-Cheat Screen from Maniac Mania. But other than that, not much else to say.

Nurse Golden: is no longer canon to the AU, sorry.

Origin Mario: is also no longer canon to the AU, I’ve mentioned that a while ago.

Well, that concludes the redo of the FNaS 5 Chapter for the AU. Hope you all enjoyed reading it. I’m still in the process of making the Gen 2 designs for the FNaS 1 roster however it might take longer as I’m going to visit family soon. But I promise to upload it when I get the chance.

Lisa Mekanikku's Secret Project (2014):

Many months behind the scenes of Pixel Robotics, Lisa Mekanikku worked on an Animatronic Unit that’s designed with an Advanced Artificial Intelligence specifically for entertainment. She personally taught the machine and developed a Mother & Son bond with each other, with the Machine wanting to do whatever it takes to make his creator proud of him. He was part of the Sonic’s Fast Food Diner reboot believing that animatronic entertainment would be much safer than the Clones (that were in the process of being reworked to be more safer) especially considering that she taught them with love and respect. Out of all the creations that she’s been a part of making, she would often say that he was one of her favorites, knowing that he would do great things one day…
