FNAS Reignited Concepts and designs

So, since once again there is a new official FNAS community, I've decided to post all of the previous stuff from all of my previous "FNAS Reignited" posts here! Most of this is gonna be copy-pasted from the original ones, but I do hope you all like these concepts. Just a quick warning, since I redid all of FNAS 1, FNAS 2, and FNAS 3 in different posts and I'm going to be copy-pasting everything I did, this is gonna be a LONG post, but I do hope you all enjoy looking back on this with me! Let's start back at the beginning with my FNAS 1 Reignited designs!

---------------------

FNAS 1 Reignited:

For those who don't know, I like recreating existing games or their art in a sort of remastered style that I like to call "Reignited." So, I took a few FNAS 1 concepts and reignited them! If ya'll really like it, maybe I'll do a little more with the concept (I could probably never make a game with the stuff since I'm not good at coding). Either way I hope you like them!

So, let's start with the FNAS 1 office. Here's the old one in comparison with the Reignited version (in its current state)!

selfishaccurateisopod-max-1mb-xvi7x8xq.png
fnas_1_reignited_office.png

As you can see, there are a few changes, such as adapting the old MM style of monitor and desk, and the replacing of the right door with a window and curtain. The player would have to shut the curtains and hold them shut until the person behind them went away. The door also has been replaced with a blast door that can be activated using a lever, similar to Circus Baby's Diner except that the door also has a light. The color of the walls, floor, and desk also match that of MM because honestly, I really like that color choice.

Behind the regular Sonic poster is a poster of Reignited Origin Sonic! Sorry, but you won't be able to see his new design quite yet, but that goes to show how the company is attempting to cover up all information about the first location.

I might go back and change a few things about the office in the future, but for now I'm happy with how it turned out.

Now let's move onto character designs! At the moment I only have two of them complete. So, let's start with Reignited FNAS 1 Sonic!

fnas_1_reignited_sonic.png

As you can see, Sonic takes on less of the "Classic Sonic" style of design and takes on a more "Modern Sonic" look, complete with green eyes and slightly sharper quills. His hat also has a blue stripe, akin to that of Toy Sonic's red-striped hat. I also decided to give FNAS 1 Sonic a jacket similar to that of Glitchtrap/Malhare from FNAF VR in order to give Sonic a classier look that would feel more fitting in a FNAF-styled restaurant.

Now let's talk Reignited FNAS 1 Mario!

fnas_1_reignited_mario_tanooki.png

Mario also takes on the same approach as Sonic, taking a more modern look in comparison to that of the Classic FNAS Mario with his signature blue eyes and lighter brown hair. At first, I wasn't fully sure if I wanted to keep Mario as a rabbit or if I wanted to give him tanooki ears, but in the end, I decided to go with the tanooki ears to make them a little more unique. Mario's darker cape has also been traded out for a brighter and more sparkly star cape. At first, I was considering just making Mario's cape look like his cape from Super Mario World, but I thought that it would feel kinda lazy to keep it do that and I wanted to give myself more of a challenge.

Let's jump right into FNAS 1 Reignited Yoshi!

fnas_1_reignited_yoshi.png

For this one I decided to not only give them the colors of modern Yoshi and to give them a cutesier facial expression, but I also chose to swap out the overused typical Chica bib for a chef's apron instead to give her a little more variety! I'm really proud of this one as it was my first time really drawing Yoshi and I think it turned out well!

So next up is a MASSIVE change, meet FNAS 1 Reignited's Tails!

fnas_1_reignited_tails.png

I decided to completely change their pirate theme and give them a more technological vibe to match that of the Canon Tails! His eyepatch has been swapped out for a pair of goggles and his hook has been swapped out for his arm cannon from Sonic Lost World (which I thought was a really unique touch)! Also, small little fun fact about Reignited Tails. The reason he's out of order is that they would actually fly around to entertain the kids, however one day they accidentally crashed into their stage, making a massive hole, so yeah, that's why FNAS 1 Reignited Tails is out of order!

Who's ready for an old classic? Here's the boy we all know and love, 15' Golden Sonic!

fnas_1_reignited_15_golden_sonic.png

15' Golden Sonic is actually taking a completely different functionality route from that of the original series' Golden Sonic. In the FNAS Reignited story, the idea is that Golden Sonic/Origin Sonic was actually based off of Sonic's super form and he would sometimes swap out with Sonic during different shows to give the kids some of that Super Sonic action! 15' Golden Sonic's shoes would have built-in hover jets built into them to mimic Super Sonic's ability to float as well!

But of course, this wouldn't be a Reignited reimagining of FNAS 1 without a new character now would it? Introducing FNAS 1 Feels the Rabbit!

fnas_1_reignited_feels.png

For those who aren't caught up on the Sonic the Hedgehog lore, before Sonic's design was even conceptualized for the original Sonic the Hedgehog games, Sonic was actually going to be a rabbit named Feels! Of course, Feels became Sonic, and his design was scrapped, but Feels had a chance to shine again when his design was completely changed into the prototype version of Ristar (which is why he has Ristar's shoes in this Reignited design)! Yup, that's right. Feels over here was originally going to be Sonic, then he was going to be Ristar, then he was scrapped all together. So hey, why not give Feels a chance to be back in the spotlight again as a new character?

Now with FNAS 1 all caught up, let's move onto my FNAS 2 Reignited stuff!
---------------------

FNAS 2 Reignited:

So, let's begin, shall we? Let's start off with the FNAS 2 office. I had to somewhat recreate it due to there not being a full render of the office, so here's what the original looked like

original_fnas_2_office.png

Hmmm, it always had too much of a gray, industrial feel to it. Remember, this IS supposed to be a pizzeria for kids. So, why don't we lighten it up a little bit?

fnas_2_reignited_office.png

Now THAT'S better! I decided to swap out the right vent for a window and a vent ABOVE the office to give more of a reason to use the cameras. Also, is that Sonny on the left...? Do I have more planned for him? Who knows, guess you'll just have to stick around to find out! Now with the office out of the way, let's move onto Reignited Toy Sonic!

fnas_2_reignited_toy_sonic.png

Not too much of a difference from the regular Reignited Sonic from FNAS 1 outside of a change in hat color, a more robotic look, the rosy cheeks, and no vest. I decided to take a more simplistic approach with Toy Sonic but trust me when I say that the other toys aren't going to be all simplistic. Up next is Toy Mario!

fnas_2_reignited_toy_mario.png

Toy Mario has taken on a very similar approach to the regular Reignited Mario from FNAS 1, however their personality is much different. R. Toy Mario would be a lot more energetic and "springy" than their original counterpart, being more adventurous and bolder. This design might be updated a little bit in the future.

fnas_2_reignited_toy_yoshi.png

Toy Yoshi was by far one of the more exciting ones to make a Reignited design for. Sporting an apron like their non-toy counterpart, Toy Yoshi is a lot more deadly than the original Toy Yoshi. R. Toy Yoshi is a lot more violent and actually has extremely sharp teeth to match that of a real dinosaur. Her eyes are also constantly in their dark mode whenever she goes on the hunt. Now get ready for what is by far one of my favorites of the bunch! Taingle!

fnas_2_reignited_taingle.png

Taingle was a REALLY fun character to make a Reignited design for. Removing their more box-like endobody, Reignited Taingle sports a FNAF 2-styled endoskeleton with wire limbs. Their broken ear is constantly sparking with electricity and loose wires hang from their eyes. One of their beautiful twin tails have gone missing, which is bound to make their creator Tails very sad. Unlike the original Taingle who you can hear by their garbled static, you would be able to hear Reignited Taingle by the sparking electricity coming from their damaged ear. But of course, we can't have Taingle without showing off their undamaged form, right?

fnas_2_reignited_toy_tails.png

Reignited Toy Tails takes a drastically different approach from that of the original Toy Tails. Still sporting their brown bowtie, R. Toy Tails actually wears a vest and orange shirt that was inspired by one of Tails's costumes in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (the Tokyo version to be exact). Here's an example of what that original outfit looked like!

img_1746-wvjdtk4s.png

While in this version the sleeves were orange, I decided to go with the black to make it more like a jacket. R. Toy Tails also holds a cupcake instead of a microphone in an interesting twist. That should be all of the toys, right?

Oh, well look who just walked in!

fnas_2_comic_toad.png

Looks like our buddy Balloon Toad got a major upgrade design-wise... or should I say Comic Toad! Wearing a jacket, vest, and bowtie akin to Toadsworth, Toad here takes it in an entirely new direction with a mushroom patterned jacket and a blue vest. Toad also now sports the rosy cheeks of the other Toy Animatronics. So, why call them "Comic Toad" now? Well, after the Mario Movie's more comedic approach with Toad, I decided to completely rewrite Balloon Toad's character. Comic Toad was a design that Tails made when Toad suggested that Tails make a Toad robot that worked as a comedian, even giving Tails some jokes to program into the robot! Comic Toad now gets his own stage where he would perform for the children. With this change in design and story, Comic Toad also has a different mechanic. No longer is he relegated to just taking your batteries, he will instead pop into the office no matter what and offer you a wheel to spin! This wheel will have many things on it, both good and bad. For example it could refill your flashlight battery, have Toad jumpscare you, break one of your vent lights, have Toad scare off any of the characters in the hall, etc. However many times Comic Toad shows up per night is up to luck. Let's hope you're having a lucky day.

Not only would Comic Toad have this drastic change in mechanics, but FNAS 2 Reignited would also have a shop, with Comic Toad acting as the shopkeeper. In this shop you would be able to buy things to aid you in the night, such as a flimsy vent door that could block a single animatronic from getting in or an upgrade to your flashlight battery. There would also be a joke in there where there would be a one-time item you could purchase called "A Kiss from Sonic" and if you tried to buy it all Toad would say is "Look lady, I'm a shopkeep, not a miracle worker. That Sonic robot here is the closest thing you're gonna get." Just a little bit of comedy to fit this new version of Toad. Poor Amy.

Now with the toys done, onto the Withereds!

So, let's begin, shall we? Let's start off with Reignited Withered Sonic!

fnas_2_reignited_withered_sonic.png

Heh, probably not quite what you were expecting, huh? Withered Sonic's design is now a lot darker and less saturated than his unwithered counterpart (something I did with every withered design actually), with more messy fur and cuts. This design took heavy inspiration from

@JoeDoughBoi  's Sonic PC Port, as you can probably tell. Up next is Withered Mario!

fnas_2_withered_mario_reignited.png

Yeah, not really too impressive of a change huh? Outside of the cape and the tanooki ears, he's still the good ol' Withered Mario you know and love. And yes, he's still bitter about Yoshi shoving his face into a stove. HOWEVER! To make up for not many changes design-wise, Withered Mario would actually get an entirely different mechanic! As you would be doing your stuff in the office, you would suddenly hear him shout "HEY" from down the hall, from which he would book it into the office and stand over you, spazing out and laughing like a maniac. Just stand still, because his eyesight isn't too good. He will then turn around and start slowly limping out of the office and back down the hall. Don't let your guard down just because he has his back to you though. He can still hear you and if you move while his back is to you, he will hear you and end your run.

Got that? Cool, because now it's time for one of my favorite withered redesigns! Withered Yoshi!

fnas_2_reignited_withered_yoshi.png

Poor Yoshi. They were by far one of the more exciting ones to make a Reignited design for. Sporting a torn version of their apron like their non-withered counterpart, Withered Yoshi's hunger reached a point where when eating their food, their top teeth accidentally bit their jaw clean off. Just keep the mask on and remain calm, you don't wanna be her next meal, do you? So, how about Tails? How did I go about this one?

fnas_2_withered_tails_reignited.png

Reignited Withered Tails was an interesting one that I had to think a lot on, but at the end of the day I decided to make them fully into the "Tails cyborg" design from Sonic Lost World. Oh no! Where is their second tail?! Yup, they lost it. Withered Yoshi accidentally mistook his tails for some kind of animal. By the time Withered Sonic and Withered Mario got Yoshi off of him, the damage was already done and Yoshi had eaten one of his tails.

Huh... is our special guest running late?

Oh! Nevermind, there they are!~

fnas_2_luiginette_reignited_02.png

Luiginette has had a major buff compared to the original puppet, where sometimes they actually can perform alongside the Toys on stage instead of always being stuck in their box! If only their eyes didn't keep leaking... well, whatever it's leaking. Of course, there is one person who has... objections... to the Luiginette, that being Daisy. Seems she doesn't really like the idea of a robot of her missing boyfriend. Tails and the others try their best to be accommodating, but Daisy has just been so angry since Luigi's mysterious disappearance. She's especially upset that they're trying to open up another restaurant instead of working to find Luigi, but that's besides the point! Same mechanic, just a new look. And hey, if you want to see what he'd look like with normal Luigi eyes, then here you go!

fnas_2_luiginette_reignited_01.png

Let's move onto one everyone knows all too well, 17' Golden Sonic!

fnas_2_reignited_17_golden_sonic.png

For Reignited 17' Golden Sonic, I decided to lean more heavily into the whole "melting" aesthetic that he's got going on. Sadly, it looks like every Golden Sonic from here will only go downhill folks. Now onto a very interesting one, Tails Doll!

fnas_2_reignited_tails_doll.png

I decided to take a more interesting route with Tails Doll and change his shape to fit that of the plushies shown in the regular FNAF series. Something about having the regular Sonic and Mario plushies and then just Tails Doll being Tails Doll always felt a little funny to me, dunno why.

I hope all of you dedicated bros are ready, because now it's time for Luigikid!

fnas_2_reignited_luigikid.png

Yeah, not really a lot going on. Originally this was a bigger change to make him look more like the current Luigikid model, but with the update to FNAS 2, it's less impressive I suppose. Of course he would probably have his original Luigi outfit as a costume.

----------

Well, looks like this was a relatively shorter one! I didn't really forget anyone, so I'm happy to say that FNAS 2 is fully compleeeeeeeee̸̮͠ẽ̴͚e̶͒ͅȇ̷̥e̶̩͐e̴̖̔ë̸̘́e̴͔͝e̸̻͝e̷̳̎e̴̝̎e̵̝͌e̶͈̓ë̴͕e̷̝̍e̵͎̓e̸̱̐e̷̹̓e̵̠̋é̷̤e̵̩͝ë̶̙e̷̝̓è̴̯e̸͎̋è̵̜e̵͈͛e̸̺͋e̴̱͋ě̴̺e̴̖͑é̷̡e̶̗̅ḙ̷̎e̸̟͝e̵͜͝e̴̗̋ē̴͕e̸̠͝ẽ̶͕e̶̹͒ë̷͍́

fnas_11111111_feels.png

REACH 6 AM. YOUR TIME IS NOT OVER YET LUIGI.

"Night S" is a sort of take on a bonus night with completely different mechanics. Taking place inside of the mind of Feels, you play as Luigi and must defend yourself from Feels and his band of shadows inside of a ruinous version of the FNAS 1 location. There will be no Shadow Sonic in Night S, as this is Feels' perfect world, where they were the main character instead of Sonic. So yeah, where did Luigi go when he vanished in Night 4 of FNAS 1 Reignited? He wound up here, and he's been stuck here for years.

Okay, NOW we're really done with FNAS 2. Yeah, I know the whole "Night S" thing kinda throws a huge curveball, but I wanted to do something interesting with the FNAS 2 shadow characters, and this was the most interesting thing I could think of. Either way I hope you all like this!

Anyways, with FNAS 2 done, let's move onto FNAS 3!

---------------------

Same deal as always, let's start with the office.

fnas_3_original_office.png

Hmmm. This won't do at all. How about we do a little redecorating and have a little change of location!

fnas_3_reignited_office.png

Now THAT'S much better! While this office design is still a work in progress and is subject to change, I think this looks much more interesting. So, what's with the strange valve on the left side of the office? Well, that could be used as a secondary way of driving back Salvage Sonic, as it will release steam and cloud his vision. Be careful though, you can only use it so many times per night. The main reason I implemented this idea is to make things a little more fair. Sometimes in FNAF 3 things can get a little too hectic and you'll lose track of Springtrap, not even getting a chance to defend yourself. This gas valve mechanic would be to sort of remedy that, giving you a limited number of second chances. Oh, and what's this? A SONNY poster from Sonic's Pizzeria Simulator? How fascinating! Does this mean that Sonny will be a more important character in this-

"HEY. CAN YOU SHUT UP AND GET TO THE GOOD PART ALREADY?"

Alright, you don't need to be so rude. Well, I guess since they so rudely interrupted me, let me introduce you to Reignited Salvage Sonic.

fnas_3_reignited_salvage_sonic.png

"LET'S BE REAL HERE, THEY ALL CAME HERE TO SEE ME."

Yeah whatever weirdo. As you can see, I decided to take things in the same direction as I took Withered Sonic from my FNAS 2 redesigns, making him very close in design with the only real changes being making him more withered and his missing arm is now like Scraptrap's arm from FNAF 6/Pizzeria Simulator. His eyes aren't quite what they used to be, especially in a room filled with gas. Now onto our next design, Withered Toy Sonic.

fnas_3_reignited_withered_toy_sonic.png

I really didn't want to fundamentally change too much with WTS's design because they already had a great design to begin with. The route I decided to go for was to make them look a little more manic and a little less wire-y, since wires don't mean everything in a withered design. Up next is Withered Toy Mario!

fnas_3_reignited_withered_toy_mario.png

I know, this might seem like a bit of a downgrade in some departments, but I decided to take this specific approach in order to make them look a little less like a wire-y mess. For the Withered Toys, I tried my best to make their tears and such look more like cracks since they would probably have a plastic outer shell. While Withered Toy Mario might have been a step down, Withered Toy Yoshi DEFINITELY makes up for that.

fnas_3_reignited_withered_toy_yoshi.png

I always felt a little bad for Withered Toy Yoshi, her legs being gone made her seem a lot less threatening, so I decided to take the interesting route that her wires were closely linked with her endoskeleton when her body was full, meaning that she can actually use her wires like spider legs to cover short distances. I decided to do what I did for the regular Toy Yoshi and give her sharper teeth to also give her a more threatening vibe too!

I won't lie to you all, this has been the part I've been THE MOST excited for. I took a VERY interesting route for the phantoms, and I think you're all gonna LOVE them. So let's start with Phantom... uh... Phantom Jumpman...?

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_mario.png

That's right! Instead of just being a plain and boring old phantom, Phantom Mario now has color, taking on the color palette of what was technically his first debut as "Jumpman" from the original Donkey Kong game. Had to keep the cape though because I thought it still needed to be there. Originally, I was going to make his phantom look like the black and white style from Mario Land 6 Golden Coins, but I thought that this would fit more in line with the other phantoms. Functionality-wise, Phantom Mario is the same as he was before. Now let's check out Phantom Yoshi

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_yoshi.png

Phantom Yoshi's design is actually inspired by their beta sprites from before Super Mario World released, with a shorter snout and more condensed body-shape. I also changed the message on their bib because I thought it was funny. Functionality-wise, Phantom Yoshi actually works a little differently. You would need to actually stare at them until they fade away. What route did I take with Phantom Tails?

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_tails.png

I decided to give Phantom Tails the same treatment as Phantom Yoshi, making them based off of their original Beta design! They might look cuter, but that doesn't make them any less deadly. Like Phantom Yoshi, Phantom Tails also works slightly differently. They actually work somewhat similarly to Waluigi from Five Nights at Wario's 4. They'll begin charging towards the camera and you'll need to quickly either switch cameras or just close the monitor entirely to stop them. So, since Phantom Tails and Phantom Taingle are based off of the same character, in Phantom Taingle just a messier version of Phantom Tails?

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_taingle.png

Actually no! Phantom Taingle's design is actually based off of the concept art that people found from the pilot episode of SATAM Sonic! Phantom Taingle actually works... somewhat interestingly compared to their original FNAS 3 counterpart. If you see them in the camera, quickly switch and don't close the camera if it's still on them. If you do, they will appear in the office window and stare at you for a moment before ducking down and slinking into your office. From there, they'll let out a loud garbled noise. Does the noise cause an audio error? Actually no, it will instead annoy and grab the attention of Withered Toy Sonic, who will book it to the office to yell at Taingle to shut up (points if you get the reference), essentially getting Withered Toy Sonic to attack you earlier than he normally would. This could actually be a viable strategy. Phantom Toad is up next!

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_toad.png

Oh. Well, that inspiration wasn't exactly expected. Yeah, I couldn't exactly find any original concept art of Toad from the early days other than from the original Mario movie, so I instead opted for this version of Toad. They function exactly the same.

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_luiginette.png

Phantom Luiginette actually takes on the Luigi design from the illustrations of Luigi shown in the 1986 Japanese guide for Super Mario Bros 2/Lost Levels. They function the exact same way as they did before.

Jumping off of the phantom train for a moment, you all know who it's time for. 27' Golden Sonic.

fnas_3_reignited_27_golden_sonic.png

Hey, if anything I DID warn you in the previous FNAS 2 stuff that the melting would only get worse. He's also finally starting to turn into a familiar shadow character that we are all familiar with.

So that should be everyone! Huh? What's that? I missed someone?

HIM? Oh no no no no. FAR too much drama revolving around them from what I know. Hmmm... oh I know! I'll just make a new easter egg phantom to replace them!

fnas_3_reignited_phantom_madonna.png

Yup. Bet you weren't expecting her huh? For those who don't know, this is Madonna from the old Sonic Tokyo Toy Show concept art. She was meant to be Sonic's love interest before SEGA decided not to take that route. I gave Feels their time in the spotlight, why not give her the same treatment?

---------------------

Aaaaand that's FNAS 1, 2, and 3's stuff done! I have already finished FNAS 4, but I want to upload that in a separate post since it will be covering 3 different versions of FNAS 4! Until then, I hope you all like these, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comments below and I'll answer to the best of my ability! Have a good day and know that you are loved.
