Hello everybody, what you saw right now is a sneak peek at one of the biggest changes in an upcoming major update for 1R DX.

It is not yet finished, it is a W.I.P as Mallie has not yet been voiced, but she will! And by none other than the same voice actress she will have in 5R; Lanna Rose!

Which means that, funnily enough, yes, you'll get to hear her in this game earlier than in the game she was originally casted for

The idea I had planned when I announced this update in the Discord server was that it would be released for DX's anniversary (which is today by the way!) but the scope of it grew bigger than I expected at first, and so it had to be postponed indefinitely until everything is all in place, but I don't know when that will be. One thing I can say is that it is fully complete aside from the VAing.

To compensate I decided to show this off and also announce the update on GameJolt along the way.

As you can see, Mallie has new sprites to closely match how she looked like in 4R :]

The sprites in Day 1 and 2 were made by Mannyboi (Day 3 and onwards were edited by me however). He was also the one who contacted B is Bonkers to reprise his role as Jeremy one more time.

If you prefer the original look of the Day cutscenes, do not worry as you can make them return to their old selves through a new setting (it only applies to the graphics though).

Lastly, this is far from everything this major update has in store... There will also balance changes (main example being Golden Leopold who will be a more prominent threat, but his mechanic is still very similar) uncompressed graphics, new extras descriptions for some characters, and some more!
