Soul BF then stumbled upon the console where Spirit is trapped. Thinking he could take Spirit out of the game, Soul enters the game and replaces Pixel BF in the third song.
Soul BF doesn't have a pixelated appearance in Senpai's world, being essentially just a manifestation of Boyfriend's soul.
