I never saw thunderstorms and rain as something that's bad or scary. I see them like music.

Thunder is like a giant drum while lighting is a giant cymbal. Now, as I put it. Thunderstorms are like the universes party, its parade, its festival. It's their music. Music that brings all the ghosts and ghouls and stars together. Just like how music is a way the living world and people comes together. The rain itself is the cheers of those ghosts and ghouls and stars celebrating the party.
