For whatever reason Gamers(TM) can’t seem to get it through their heads that game review sites aren’t supposed to be a complete monolithic collective deciding whether a game is objectively good or bad


the scores they give games are just the opinions of whatever random shmuck they assigned it to, who have varying tastes, interests, and ideas for what makes a good game.

So no, they didn’t give the game you like a bad score because they “hate gamers and are out to get you personally” get over yourself.

With that being said fuck IGN and other big gaming news sites, not because they gave your favorite computer game a slightly lower score than what you personally wanted, but because they overwork and underpay their writers and have been actively replacing them with AI.
