Scendora Studios Presents: The untold tale of Darlock’s great history! This article, taken directly from the Darlock Encyclopedia, entails of the greatness our four Elementals took on by creating the world of Darlock. This short tale touches on the hows and whys of early times that shaped the many Gods seeded to the Isles which controls its many creatures.

THE FOUR ELEMENTALS

All that we know from the beginning of time goes back to our four Elementals. Melock, the Elemental of fire. Lapiseria, the Elemental of water. Darnes, the Elemental of earth. Ventrisera, the Elemental of air. With the four elements we know today, the source goes back to these ancient Elementals.

MELOCK AND LAPISERIA

Melock married to Lapiseria. The two Elementals met like no other powerful being. Out of separate supernovae, their life was left by a collapsing black hole. The two largest in the whole universe. They met by following one anothers exploding light. Curious of one another, they fell in love. Exploring the universe together. They were alone together. Until they heard another, and had to investigate…

DARNES AND VENTRISERA

Darnes married to Ventrisera. Darnes held in his hand a small world. Unsatisfied with its size, he stretched it to appear larger standing on land than from its whole perspective. He cared for this world very much, though loneliness caught into Darnes like a cold. This is when Darnes took part of his world away. Scooping a large chunk, he molded it into a companion. A beautiful mass of art floats lifeless around Darnes’s world. This is When Melock and Lapiseria come prancing towards Darnes. In a storming comet, before crashing into the world Darnes has created, they stop. The fire and water splash from their sudden juncture coating the beautifully molded earth. Outraged, Darnes catches two passing worlds and smashes the two careless lovers. With the two dazed and silent, Darnes checks on his masterpiece. To his astonishment the chunk of earth was alive. Beautiful and alive. Darnes and Ventrisera married at the sight of one another.

Darnes looked to Melock who was helping recover Lapiseria. Amazed by his strength and curious fire like glow, Darnes looked after the two. Eventually giving part of his world to the two lovers.

AND SO THE WORLD WAS BORN-DARLOCK

Melock worked tirelessly to provide for Darnes. Seeing a light in him that couldn’t go out. They became very close friends. One day the four met to talk about something Darnes was planning. He wanted to share the world he had created with his friend. They named the world Darlock, after Darnes and Melock. Darnes asked that both Melock and Lapiseria add their element to the world. When they mixed the fire and water the surface crackled for thousands of years. Something wasn’t quite right though. This was supposed to change things to be more beautiful. Then Darnes asked Ventrisera to blow onto the world. With the wind added, the fire grew larger, and the seas rougher. Until she let go of her breath and it all stopped. The fires of the land ceased around the still oceans. Darnes watched to his world for some time waiting for something else. He wouldn’t tell the other Elementals what he anticipated. So he watched. He watched his world so long that the other Elementals left him. Darnes grew tired in waiting causing him to fall into a deep slumber. While in his sleep a quiet giant was approaching. Then impact. The shock waking Darnes. Darlock had been hit by an asteroid. A strange cloud covered the entire planet. Darnes summoned Ventrisera who brought with her the winds of the ether. This collapsed the world into itself forcing the waters of the oceans out into the universe. The world was left only with its lakes and channeling rivers. The dominating oceans were gone. Darnes and Ventrisera studied their broken world. This is when Melock came to see the devastation. Darnes and Ventrisera opened their arms to Melock pulling him closer to the floating mass. As Darnes stood close to the world it began to change color. A beautiful green foliage filled the lands reaching out to Melock. Darnes broke a smile relieved that his creation was finally ready to bear fruit.

The world wasn’t destroyed.

No.

The world had just been born.

A celebration was had!
