Hey there. It's been 2 weeks, so here's what's been going on with development!

3D Environments

Okay, so we're putting the 3D stuff aside for now. It's not really working out as well as I hoped it would.

We started experimenting with decorations like tables and stuff. It worked, but then we realized just how much work it'd take to translate all of the other decorations you see into 3D.

So for the time being, we're scrapping it. But we might come back to it later and give it another try. For the time being, we're going to work on other stuff.

Days 1-2 Rewrite

We're now starting the process of re-doing the scenes and dialogue for days 1-2. For a few days, we're going to go through what's in the game right now, and point out what could be improved. Take notes, and then start the rewrite.

Along with the rewrite, we're also planning on adding 3 new scenes to the game. (2 for day 1, 1 for day 2's evil route.)

Once we're finished with the refresh, we'll update the demo, along with several other fixes that have gone unfixed for far too long.

I'm going to be a little bit busier this month, so I'm now going to say this will take us two weeks instead of one. I don't want to rush things, so it will take more or less, depending on what happens.

WILLY REDESIGN?!

Willy is getting redesigned. Again. This will be his *final* redesign.

Why? Let's be honest... he has a "vague" resemblance to somebody else...

We're still working on the redesign. We'll show it off sometime next week when it's done.

With this, we're going to have to update a *lot* of material. It might take us some time to update that.

End of Update

Didn't really have much to share today. The 3D stuff didn't really work out as well as we had first thought. It's not much different from the screenshots we shared last time.

Next update we'll show lots of footage of the rewrite. We want to get as much feedback on it as possible.

We also might start looking for more testers specifically for the rewrite within the next couple weeks. We'll keep you posted on that, if any of you might be interested.
