in lore aliens DID exist, but most are either dead or slaves to The Prince's army because he conquered their planets already, Earth is the last one left. All other civilizations were found and destroyed by The Prince after making too much noise in space to the point he heard them, Earth just got lucky and was the last one. This is basically like The Dark Forest theory
