To explain somethings about it, The Chase Begins takes place in the world of Lego City (a variant of LA, New York & Chicago all together) where you play as the protagonist that is very popular, memorable and beloved by fans of Lego, Chase McCain as he journeys through the areas of Lego City such as Cherry Tree Hills, Albatross Island, etc. as you explore, investigate, fight crime, and arrest criminals that escaped from prison like Rex Fury or Tommy Knuckles for example, as of which the ending cutscene shows the Chase being exiled from Lego City after the actions that pursuit Rex Fury as this lead to the sequel of Lego City Undercover where two years later, Chase McCain returns to Lego City from two years of exile and continues fighting crime.

This lead to Chase McCain being appeared in mini-movies such as Brick Boss and appeared in lego sets of Lego City Undercover from 2012 - 2017 but however we haven’t gotten to hear anything from Chase McCain’s return as he’s left forgotten after 2017 so if Lego ever wants to make plans for Lego City then, it better be a TV show of Lego City Undercover
