Fusion Engine Revamped


This is a blog post I should have made a long time ago.

The Fusion Engine I posted is technically dead. I got some collision codes from my brother and started from the ground up. That pretty much means the exact engine is discontinued but can be recreated with better platforming (Still no slopes as of now).

The new set-up feels much cleaner to look through(sometimes) and should allow for a lot more opportunities in current and future projects.

Some Things I Got Around To Figuring Out

  • HitBox System (No Longing requires I make a new sprite for each attack)

  • Moving Platforms

  • One-Way Platforms

  • Conveyor Belts

  • Imperfect Missle Targeting (Rotation speed depends movement speed)

I know I’m not very active, but I hope that you understand that despite that I do try to work on things. I just get a sort of developer’s block and move on to another thing very frequently. Though everything I’ve worked on is still on the table it’s just not in focus.

I’ll try to get some work done over winter break but we’ll see.
