Game Almost Done

This game has been fun to work on the past week. It has become a special project for me. And if you can’t tell by some of the descriptions of this game, the story won’t end when this game does. My other game (that I actually started working on before this one), Test Alpha, is its own game, but when I saw the theme for this game jam I thought “hey, lets make a ‘sequel’ or rather just turn Test Alpha into a secondly released prequel”.

This game is very dark toned and I’ll probably change the rating from all ages to teen, but we’ll see.

I wanted to make this post mainly to talk about what this game is like and as long as I don’t reveal any of the story, I don’t think spoilers are really going to be a problem.

This game is meant to be VERY difficult and the higher of a floor you reach in the Chamber Tower, the more difficult it gets to an exponential rate. You will be required to beat the game in one playthrough, you can’t restart the same level over and over if you keep failing it, and even if you could, you only have 5 minutes to beat the game and simply not failing will be the easiest way to do so.

I am going to emphasize the difficulty of this game a LOT because it is meant to be truly difficult. I may create an easier difficulty for those who may not be able to beat it and I already do plan on making a “hardcore” difficulty for the game and the endings of the game WILL be different based off of what difficulty you have completed the game in. So keep that in mind.

That is all I needed to say. Thank you to those who took their time to read all this.
