To make user experience with downloading games easier, I will structure this into three separate downloads.
Environment - jre, dependencies for the game, and a game exe to display version jars you want to play.
Assets - images, sounds, and fonts for the game.
Versions - game code patches for each game.
The idea is if any asset additions, removals, or changes were made, the game informs the user to redownload the assets folder to be up to date. And to get the new versions of the game, you only need to download the versions folder, meaning you only need to download the environment once. Assets take up the most time of downloads than anything else, so I want to consider reducing the amount of download time as much as possible. I will make a tutorial video on how to download my future games once I get it all to work. Then after releasing fnaf the beginnings, I’ll also work on implementing a new code environment for fnac 3 too. Tho that may take a while.
