Game maker 3d effects.

Hey all, I recently realised that I know quite a bit of 3d effects that some may want to use in game maker. And so over the next few weeks or so, I’ll be releasing my own little tutorials on how to do them.

My first one is up now on how to do real time shadows which you can find here: http://gamejolt.com/community/forums/topics/real-time-shadows-in-game-maker/1915/

If any of you have anything you would like to find out about doing ask me and I’ll let you know if I have an idea or know whether it’s possible in game maker or not.

I plan to go through:
Outlines for 3d models (This one is quite simple, you should be able to find it quite easily if you google it) which some wrongfully call cel shading.
Terrain, this is quite a fun one and is super generic.
Map creation programs.
Skeletal animation and the problems that occur in with game maker in 3d skeletal animation.
Maybe bloom (But my method is incredibly slow and there are way faster methods of doing this.)

And finally just some tips on making your games run a bit more efficiently based off issues I’ve seen a lot of game maker users do.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
