Hi everyone, going to write this short page as there is some exciting stuff to be said!

First off, I updated the game page with some nice looking banners provided by TheComicalMelon! Major kudos to them for kindly providing me with these lovely renders! I may update with some better ones later from the same person, so keep looking forward to that!

Second, I need to address something about one of the recent changes in Redacted. Though most of the features and content in the original FNaF World will be present, I have to scrap the moves Mystery Box and Hocus Pocus. Here’s why.

For some reason using any Mystery Box type move from anyone that is at the backup party would cause your members to disappear. It would cause the enemies to attack twice as fast since there’s no target, often ending your game. Hocus Pocus was also dropped since according to one of my testers, enemies don’t seem to be changing when it was used. I couldn’t fix them even with the same code, so I have no choice but to scrap them.

This means I retconned the party members that have these moves. On the plus side, this means I took it a step further and tweaked some other party members! I think this is a good change since it would help balance the game. Though Mystery Box and Hocus Pocus are interesting moves, I think scrapping them would be better as those aren’t all that useful in practice. I would rather scrap something that no longer works than leave it in and cause problems.

Here’s an example of what I’m talking about.

Say, Toy Freddy looks like he can be decent for once, and Funtime Pirate Foxy got nerfed! Despite some of these changes being good or bad, it’ll help to give the other characters a chance in the spotlight. I hope you have fun with the tweaked characters!

And finally, release date! Though I did set up a deadline, I think Redacted is nearly done and decided to aim it for release on JUNE 1ST! Yes, just two days away! I hope I don’t hurt myself from all this pressure! I know most of you would be at school or work, but I’ll assure you that if it DOES come out on that day, it’ll be up when you get home. ;)
