I think MX and Lord X are the same person. Think about it, similar names, intentions, games, abilities. Like how the being in MX can shapeshifter into whatever he wants, but has a fascination with Mario JUST LIKE LORD X, so it wouldn’t be crazy if MX was just Lord X but at a different time and realm

But hey that’s just a theory!
