I have a few ideas! 
- Hunting for monsters in random pages.
- Pumpkin Carving Minigame - Share your creations!
- Give a ghostly Halloween feel to Gamejolt:
For example - Cobwebs in the corners of the screen, Fog at the bottom of the screen (looping transparent gif), a spooky sound when you enter, etc..

Speaking of Spooky entrances,

What if when you first open Gamejolt it takes you through a Halloweeny spooky graveyard with ghosts walking around and cool spooky opening music, and then a door opens revealing the new update pop-up, and then when someone goes to close it, a spooky hand comes out of the bottom of it when you hover over it.
And then when you click it, it goes from normal Gamejolt to Spookified Gamejolt, as i mentioned before. (maybe another spooky sound?)

I made them in 16x16 simply because they looked more expressive.
