Version 0.1.1: Gauntlet of Glass Patch Notes
WEAPONS
Added 3 weapons that players can buy with gold (See mechanics):
Rifle: The newly renamed default gun. Free.
Upside: Fast fire rate. Downside: Inaccurate.
Sniper: Highly efficient against ranged units. 50 gold.
Upside: Fast bullets, high damage, accurate. Downside: Slow fire rate. Ability: Phases through enemy bullets instead of destroying them.
Pistol: Midgrade between the Sniper and Rifle. 100 gold.
Midrange stats: No real upsides or downsides.
Shotgun: Close range ender of suicide units. 250 gold.
Upside: High damage. Downside: Very inaccurate, slow fire rate. Ability: Shoots 10 bullets at once.
ENEMIES
Medium Melee:
Fixed an animation error on their attack, so a ghost animation doesn’t play at the location forever
MECHANICS
Made the player’s movement snappier.
Suicide enemies now spawn less frequently.
Enemies now spawn once every 5 seconds (Was 2 seconds).
Every 30 seconds, enemies spawn 0.5 seconds faster (Capped at once per 0.5 seconds).
If no enemies are present on screen, the spawner will now instantly spawn one.
Added 4 powerups that spawn every 30 seconds:
Invulnerability: Immune to damage for 5 seconds.
Healing: Restore 50 health and regain 10 max health.
Speed: Double the fire rate of your weapon and move 50% faster for 8 seconds.
Strength: Double your damage for 8 seconds.
Gold:
Whenever the player gets a kill, they get 5 gold. They also get 20 gold every 30 seconds.
In the future, bosses will award a high amount of gold on kill.
MISC
Adjusted the color of the Game Over text.
The player can now pause by pressing “esc”.
