With the leaderboard now in and the GameJolt API functionality all working properly, I’m going to release Goblin Balls this Thursday.
The game itself is still early days, but it’s done it’s primary goal of seeing how the GameJolt API works. If I get some more time I’ll probably add trophies, autologin and do something a bit more clever for the leaderboard. I’ll probably look at bringing it to mobile as well, since it was originally designed for that purpose.
I’ll be using what I’ve learned developing Goblin Balls to release a new update to Pixel Raiders Alpha Demo 2 which will include new online leaderboards and achievements.
For now, I’ll leave you to check out, play and judge the first official Goblin Balls release on the awesome GameJolt platform this coming Thursday. I look forward to seeing your scores and finding out what you all think.
