So, Otherworld has a diverse set of new characters you can meet and become friends with. (or slaughter every last one of!!) You may (or may not) want to know more about these characters! I will go one by one telling you info about each character!

As you may know, I did not create all the characters in Otherworld. I actually made a post on Undertale Amino awhile back. I said “Hey guys! want ur character in a game XDDD 5252?!??!?” People really seemed to enjoy this. I got an overload of people who wanted their fan character in the game! I had only created 3 characters at the time. (Kitty, Monnet, and Peck) So I was happy to see all these interesting, and wacky characters! I even managed to get featured on the Amino (neat huh?). After these people sent their designs, I started an Otherworld Amino, so we could all give each other’s ideas, and share cool things about the game. After awhile we moved to a discord server to chat and such. It was a lot better than sharing info on an amino for sure. Some of the people who sent their designs just stopped talking one day… I don’t know why. But I am determined (No reference intended) to keep these characters in the game. I even developed more of a personality on my own for some of the characters.

I will be going off the numbers to explain each character. So you can look up at the picture to know who I am talking about. ok, so let’s get started.

#1. Kitty
The first CHARActer I am going to talk about today is Kitty. She is the first character you meet when you fall into the underground. When you meet her, she gives you advice and is kind of like the tutorial of the game. She was never meant to have much of a personality. But I decided to make her more of a mysterious kind of monster, with a lot of secrets. BUT HEY, YOU SAW THE SPOILER THING RIGHT!!! Because I am going to spoil the secrets she is hiding. Skip past this if you don’t want to be spoiled. Or just close the darn thing. Well now that that is over with. Kitty is Chara. I thought this one was pretty obvious. Her attacks, her battle music, the fact that she wrote in red pen. It all counts up right? But, this probably has you scratching your head. Well, Kitty is also some sort of Amalgamation. Flowey took the determination from Chara’s soul and put it into a dead cat. And whammo! Kitty is born. The only reason she can keep her form until death is because she still has her soul. (I will be adding her death animation in the next update, I am actually already finished with it. Just need to fix a few things)

#2. Spooks
Up next we have spooks. The friendly jamming ghost. He want’s to be just like his cousin when he grows up (Napstablook). He is getting a little bit of success. Playing at party’s and such. But not much else really. He has a few secrets. Like the fact that he is Zpookz, his evil brother. He has some sort of random switches where he can go from being the happiest person in the world (even happy in a box), to wanting to slaughter you! He learns how to manage this throughout the game however.

#3. Peck
Next is Peck. The first character you meet in Snowdin. He is a bird, he is a gamer, and he is savage. Peck usually likes to spend his spare time playing video games, Eating food, or hanging out with Misu. He lives in what used to be Sans and Papyrus’s home before they went to the surface. He often likes to roast other characters in the game, and is overall kind of a jerk. Although at points, he is caring and nice when he needs to be. When things get serious. Not much else is needed to be said really.

#4. Misu
Next we got Misu! A fun loving bunny who is really caring towards everything she meets. She wouldn’t hurt a fly. But she would hurt someone if they hurt the fly. get it? She spends her free time hanging out with peck. Or doing stuff to help the environment. She loves fashion as well. If you are wearing something she finds cool. She will snap a photo and put it up on her wall. She has a rather odd since of fashion to be honest. She also has to be doing something at all times. If not, she will get distracted from the world for a bit. But Peck keeps her company when she has nothing to do.

#5. Mewmo
Mewmo is a prototype of Mettaton built by Alphys. Alphys was trying to come up with something to make Mettaton happy, and Mewmo wasn’t the one. She later came to life by a ghost who inhabited the bot. She spent most of her life in the true lab. She even made friends with a small amalgamate dog, Drooper. She loves her dog. It is the only thing that keeps her company. Until you convince her to see the world and join your adventure and such!

#6. Vortex
Vortex, also known as the sign guy. Leaves signs around the underground for a hobby. His job however is the run the Meat Factory. He has this slime like substance that he can use to form things with his mind. Such as weapons, bridges, beds, and food(don’t suggest eating it). He is overall a sad person. He doesn’t cheer up until you meet him. He likes to sit around and do nothing most of the time. Not much else about him needs to be said really.

#7. Monnet
“Umm.. M36, there is no Monnet in the picture. What does she look like?” Well, here is a concept piece of Monnet. I have not made a sprite for her yet. But I will eventually.

Monnet is probably the most powerful monster in the underground. But, she has one downside. She is a literal child. She likes to spend time having pretend tea parties, playing with toys, or snuggling her teddy. But she can level a skyscraper easily if she wanted to. Asgore saw this power and was afraid. He put her in the dungeon deep below the castle. But after the barrier disappeared, she escaped and now rules the castle! She is the final boss in the game. The ultimate challenge that you build up to.

DEMO INFO:
The next demo I will be adding wont be like new areas and characters and such. more of a fixing bugs, and touching up things here and there. Such as:

• Kitty now has a death animation

• You can get the game over screen

• Buggybot is now more kawaii

• New music

• fixed a lot of sprites and problems.

• fixed some bugs people were getting

• You now start the game with 2 tuna cans that heal 16hp each.
