Getting ready to dip our toes into Unity Engine!


Hello mah bois and mah gurls, we have some excellent news because Sonic: Renegade 5 might use the Unity Engine! But we're not going to go 3D. We will go 2D!

Here are some things we will add to Sonic: Renegade 5 if we switch to Unity:

  • Some characters will have brand new movesets, including Overdrive Attacks (The new equivalents for Final Smashes)

  • Smash Bros.-Like items, like an energy drink, cake, Item Box, Item Crystal, Crescent Rose...

  • Character Upgrades

  • Online Mode

  • An Store where you can buy new characters, new stages, new music, character upgrades, etc... with RenegadeCoins.

  • Mobile port! (Thanks for asking us, @Hellgames_ga)

  • Stage Mechanics!

  • and more!

Just to be clear, if none of this works out, then we will go back to M.U.G.E.N. Thanks for listening and peace out!
